Baume & Mercier begins it’s watchmaking history in 1830 when brothers, Louis Victor Baume and Pierre Joseph Celestin Baume formed the Societe Baume Freres. Over time the business continued to grow and in 1918 William Baume and watchmaker Paul Mercier became business partners. Baume & Mercier received the Geneva Seal in 1921. They continue to combine the finest in Swiss watchmaking tradition with the latest innovation.
