Glashutte Original, currently owned by The Swatch Group, was founded in 1994 by an East German conglomerate formed in 1951 known as VEB Glashutter Uhrenbetriebe. Part of this conglomerate was the German watch brand A. Lange & Sohne that was founded in 1845. Glashutte is one of the few brands that produces its own movement. The brand’s most popular lines are the Senator collection, the Pano collection and the Sport Evolution collection.
