The Hamilton Watch Company was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The brand’s first collection of pocket watches, known as Broadway Limited, was referred to as the “Watch of Railroad Accuracy.” Hamilton watches were known for having impeccable precision and reliability. In 1957, Hamilton created the world’s first ever battery-powered watch, known as the Hamilton Electric 500. Today Hamilton’s most popular lines are the Khaki, Jazzmaster, X-wind and Ventura collections.
