Daniel Jean Richard was born in 1665 in Les Bressel, Switzerland. When he was 16 years old he assembled his first watch, which was the first one ever assembled in the region. Jean Richard proceeded to make fundamental tools and machinery necessary to produce timepieces. Today the brand’s most popular lines are the TV Screen, Bressel and Paramount collections.
