Watch and Brand News Introducing: Nomos Glashütte Autobahn Baselworld 2018

Tim Mosso review of the Autobahn:

In partnership with Werner Aisslinger, a world renowned product designer from Germany, Nomos Glashütte brings us the Autobahn.

This new design for Nomos Glashütte was designed for both car lovers and cycling enthusiasts alike. The timepiece is inspired by legendary race tracks, which can be seen in the curve of the dial’s rehaut. The elongated date window is inspired by three racing lanes. There is Superluminova marking the flanks of the hour markers, not only making the watch legible but pulls inspiration from the speedometer of a classic car.

The watch is 41mm and has a water resistance of 100 meters. The dial is subtle in design yet aligns with the Nomos Glashütte modern style  while being designed by Aissligner.

After 4 years of design collaboration between the Nomos design department and Aisslinger, the watch is ready for it’s big premier. It is available in three colors: white silver plated, sports gray and midnight blue.

The Autobahn is available starting March 22nd, 2018 and we will update with pricing and technical details as they become available.
